Leo Brinkman VIEW PROFILE

Leo M. Brinkman, 57 of Lincoln, passed away Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014.

Born to Winston and Julia (Quinn) Brinkman on March 22, 1957, in Lincoln. Leo was a member of the United Transportation Union, an avid outdoorsman, he especially loved boating on the river, and his new found passion for fishing. He loved dogs especially his dog, Lady Bug.

Leo is survived by his sons, Casey and Ted Brinkman; daughter, Rita Brinkman; mother, Julia A. Brinkman; brothers, Guy, Mike, and Jeff Brinkman; sister, Pat Dinges. He was preceded in death by his father, Winston F. Brinkman; his grandparents; and sister-in-law, Jan Brinkman.

A celebration of Leo's life will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, at Lincoln Family Funeral Care, 5844 Fremont Street. Memorials may be given to the family for future designation. No visitation, cremation. Online condolences may be left at www.lincolnffc.com
